JAIPUR’S TEJASVI CHANDELA WINS WORLD TRAVEL BRAND ACADEMY AWARD

Jaipur. Ms. Tejasvi Chandela, a qualified Chef from Le Cordon Blue, Paris and Leith School of Food and Wines, London has won the prestigious 'World Travel Brand Academy Award' recently. Ms. Chandela is running her own Patisserie and Café by the name of Dzurt at Civil Lines in Jaipur.


The Award was given to Ms. Chandela recently in Delhi by the food lover and food critic, Vinod Dua – for being the Best Upcoming Authentic French Patisserie and Café in Rajasthan. The award was unveiled by the Princess Diya Kumari today at the Spice Court. Princess said on the occasion that there was a dire need of world class Patisserie and Café for the tourists as well as for the resident of Jaipur. She further added that such outlets should also be opened near the tourists monuments in the State.

Ever since, the outlet for authentic pastries, cakes and sweets opened in May, it has made waves and is among the most popular such joints in the city now.  A number of foreigners also frequent this outlet.

Tejasvi Chandela said on the occasion that apart from the running the outlet she was also providing avenue to the village youth by creating employment and sharing her skill with the village youth.

It is to be noted that Ms. Chandela, in her bid to promote village youth has employed them from nearby villages and is training them to become chefs without their having to go to London or Paris. She is sharing her qualifications and skills with these youth.
