Valay Agarwal a class 10th student of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya was declared the regional winner in the Shell Junior National Science Scholars Award 2013-14 held at Delhi on 16th January.
Valay won a whopping Rs 50,000/- as cash prize and a trophy. This examination was conducted by Shell India and The British Council. The knowledge partner was the National Council of Science Museums.
There were more than 7,000 students from more than 450 participating schools from all over India. There were 3 national winners and 21 regional winners and Valay was one amongst them. It was an excellent opportunity and exposure for Valay to interact with the National and Regional winners at the Award ceremony.
